The Lake uses Crystal Lagoons technology, a world leader in
the conditioning for bathing, treatment and maintenance of large surfaces of crystal clear water. This technology is the most efficient known to date and allows the lake to be maintained with half the water needed for a park of the same surface area and 30 times less than that needed for an 18-hole golf course.
It operates in a closed circuit, purifying and reusing the same water, so it does not require renewal of the water resource beyond evaporation. Its efficient filtering system allows up to 100 times less additives to be used than in conventional systems. It only consumes 2% of the electrical energy used by a traditional filtration system.
